PLEASE NOTE that the Boat’s name for the Contest, Sponsorship details and Hull and Spinnaker colours, must be confirmed to the Contest Secretary by no later than 17h00 on Friday 21st July 2017 in the event of them not being available at the time that the original entry is lodged.

THIS ENTRY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNLESS A COPY OF THE CLASS MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATE, TOGETHER WITH A BRIEF CV OF THE SKIPPER AND HELMSMAN (WHERE APPLICABLE) ARE SUBMITTED.

I hereby certify the accuracy of the details above and confirm that our entry will abide by the terms and conditions of the Notice of Contest, the Sailing Instructions and any amendments to them.

I confirm that the Skipper and Crew who will contest the Challenge are, or will be by close of registration, bona fide members of this club and are or will be paid up members of their National Authority.

I certify that the yacht will comply with the current L26 Class rules, as at 31st May 2017, at all times during the Contest.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

Competitors participate in this Contest entirely at their own risk. Refer RRS 4, Decision to Race. The Organising Authority including all persons, organisations and their agents concerned with the conduct of this Contest will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the Contest, however arising..

All competitors shall submit a disclaimer of liability as provided by the Contest Secretary. In the event that the signatory of this entry form and/or the disclaimer is younger than 18 years of age it shall be counter-signed by their parent or guardian.

INSURANCE

The Organizing Authority requires that each entry carries adequate insurance to the value of not less than R2.5m (two million five hundred thousand rand) to cover against any eventualities and in particular against Public Liability and Third Party claims.
